Playlists

Playlists let you organize your music into custom collections for specific moods, events, or personal preferences.

Creating a Playlist

To create a new playlist:

Open the Playlists section from the sidebar.
Click the New Playlist button.
Enter a name for your playlist.
Add songs by dragging them from your library into the playlist area.

Playlists are saved automatically and can be accessed anytime.

Managing Songs in a Playlist

Once a playlist is created, you can:

Reorder tracks by dragging them up or down.
Remove a song by right-clicking and selecting Remove from Playlist.
Play the playlist from the beginning by clicking the play icon at the top.

Renaming or Deleting a Playlist

To rename: Click the playlist name and enter a new one.
To delete: Right-click the playlist in the sidebar and choose Delete Playlist.

Deleting a playlist does not remove the actual songs from your library.

Smart Playlists

Smart Playlists are dynamically generated based on conditions you set.

To create one:

Go to New Playlist > Smart Playlist.
Add one or more rules, such as:
- Genre is "Jazz"
- Play count is greater than 10
- Added in the last 30 days
Click Create to finish.

Smart Playlists update automatically as your library changes.

Exporting a Playlist

You can export any playlist as a file:

Open the playlist.
Click the Options menu (⋮) and choose Export.
Select the format (e.g., .m3u, .json) and save it to your computer.

Once you're familiar with playlists, you can explore other playback features like Looping & Shuffle or Playback Speed.
